“Peace and dignity are NOT VERY FAR out of our reach! It just comes down to what ‘I&I’ choose to teach. Truth and honesty, we’ve freed our hearts. And freed our minds. So now our children can live together as ONE ’till the end of time!
…The songs of my ancestors still ricochet through the wind! And the smoke is rising through the words ‘I&I’ sing!
my goodness! there is NO1 more at home on the track than the ‘Lightning BOLT!’ Have you ever seen anyone else more loose and relaxed than this guy? …and then on top of that, with ALL THE PRESSURE surrounding him, he goes out there and backs it all up with his performance!!?? …all the while making it look seemingly EASY!!?? Daaaang.
…an interesting look into what the game of chess would look like if it were able to come alive and was played with ‘real’ emotions and feelings! this idea of chess coming to life makes the game that much more appealing to learn and play 🙂 watch this vid and see if you have the guts and desire to step out onto the battlefield and protect your king!
This is just something I would like to share with whoever might be reading this. First off, Ladysmith Black Mambazo (LBM) is one of my favourite musical groups, and they’re also quite possibly my favorite concert to go to. I’ve seen them twice already and wish i could see them everyday. There’s just something so special about them. Which brings me to what I wanted to share in this post….
I was surfing around on youtube the other day for LBM videos and came across they’re music video cover of “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” with Dolly Parton. After watching that video, I was utterly blown away by its simple loveliness and beauty. And I’m pretty darn certain that it is my favorite music video ever! (at least for the time being). But enough with my ranting now. Instead let me just share the video with you all!
I was just surfing around my Youtube Homepage and noticed a particular video in my recommendations tab. It was a live performance of Lauryn Hill from way back in the day. As I was watching her performance, it dawned on me how much I really wish she would make her return back to the world of music. I really think the music industry needs people like her these days. I have to agree with what her Fugee bandmate Pras said of her during Dave Chappelle’s Block Party when he said that Lauryn Hill was the best artist of the past 30-or-so years!
